Calendar of events and closings for 2020-2021. Please note, these calendar events may be updated or amended, so please contact us if you have any questions.
Our preschool is open 12 months, which allows for continuity of care and a consistent routine for your child.
While we do close for certain holidays (Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur), we have chosen to remain open for some of the holidays when many Jewish schools are typically closed (Sukkot, Shemini Atzeret, Simchat Torah, and Shavuot). On these days, we provide programming that is aligned with the holiday being celebrated, and we offer opportunities for parents to engage in a holiday experience with their child/ren.
As part of our commitment to providing your children with a high quality school experience, we recognize the importance of and provide opportunities for our teachers to participate in Professional Development and Teacher Work Days spaced throughout the years. Additionally, we foster partnerships with our parents through two parent-teacher conferences during the year. On these days, we close the preschool so that our teachers may have sufficient time to meet with every family. This is a time to discuss your child’s growth and development, concerns, and goals for the future.
